Daniel's career began as a Senior List Researcher at a British publishing house, where his role involved collecting contact information online and entering data into Microsoft's CRM system, Microsoft Dynamics CRM 3.0. To improve the efficiency of this process, he successfully developed and implemented a Visual Basic script in Excel, which enhanced data entry efficiency by 95%.
Later, he joined Fuji Xerox Singapore as a CRM Executive, where he played a crucial role in enhancing the CRM system (Microsoft Dynamics CRM 4.0 and 365) by collaborating with external third parties and implementing system improvements for hundreds of end-users. His notable achievement was the development of "CRM Boy," which improved the data quality and integrity of the CRM system by 98%.
After earning a Master’s degree in Consumer Insights from Nanyang Business School, he became a lecturer in Analytics at Singapore Management University, where he created lecture notes and technical walkthroughs, teaching analytics to students from various disciplines.
Daniel later held various consulting roles across industries such as consulting firms, manufacturing, and IT, which took him to countries like Paris, London, Sri Lanka, Japan, and Malaysia. These experiences deepened his understanding of global cultural and professional needs and motivations, particularly in data analysis. He also focused on operational management during his year in the United States.
Before becoming a freelancer, Daniel served as the Head of the Data Science Department at a software company in Singapore, where he developed AI using advanced scripting, data science, and machine learning techniques. He also worked on automating 95% of the current reporting processes, freeing people from daily manual tasks.
Daniel holds a Bachelor's degree in Marketing (BSc. Marketing, Pass with Merit) from Singapore University of Social Sciences, a Master’s degree in Marketing and Consumer Insights (MSc. Marketing and Consumer Insights) from Nanyang Technological University, and a Doctorate in Business Administration (Doctor of Business Administration) from the Swiss School of Business and Management.
